This was hand painted using watercolors. When creating this piece, I was reminded of when I was a child and our neighbors planted a whole crop field of sunflowers across the street. Watching their heads turn ever facing towards the sun makes me think of the importance of choosing to turn away from what holds us back, and look towards What encourages us to grow.
